Wedding Dog Attendant
Include your dog in wedding portraits or the ceremony with one dedicated attendant. Based in Marpole, we consider weddings in Vancouver and nearby Richmond, subject to route, schedule and suitability.
- Wedding Portraits: $445 + GST ($467.25 including GST), for up to one continuous hour at one venue.
- Ceremony & Portraits: $595 + GST ($624.75 including GST), for up to three continuous hours at one venue.
Both packages cover one dog. Preparation and the agreed pickup and return transport are included outside venue time. Optional boarding is $70 + GST per night, subject to suitability and availability; holiday and late-pickup charges may apply.
GST, extra charges and transport
All listed rates and boarding surcharges are subject to 5% GST. Confirm the total for your exact dates and care arrangements before booking.
Boarding extras
- Final-day pickup after 2 pm: add $35 + GST.
- December 20 to January 4: add $10 + GST per night ($10.50 including GST) above the regular boarding rate.
Optional daycare before a stay
An optional daycare day at the regular rate can help your dog experience the home routine before regular care or a longer stay.
We do not offer familiarization meetings or free trials.
Pet Transportation
Planned airport, vet or groomer journeys are quoted individually. Booking boarding does not automatically include transport.
Arrange care with Ken and Yvonne
Tell us about your dog.
Share your neighbourhood, preferred dates, your dog’s routine and temperament, and any health, medication or handling needs.
Discuss the arrangements.
We discuss timing, compatibility, access and price with you. Let us know about medication needs or short-notice dates so we can confirm what is possible.
Confirm the care plan.
Agree on the care plan, both handoffs, emergency arrangements and communication before care starts. Your place is reserved once we have confirmed the arrangements with you.
If your plans change
Contact Ken or Yvonne if travel dates, pickup times, medication instructions or handling needs change. We will review what can be accommodated. Keep the updated written confirmation; an earlier discussion does not automatically cover a changed arrangement.
Walking routes and special requests
Local Walks
We discuss private or compatible walks around your dog’s needs, on leash or off leash where appropriate. Home pickup and walks on any day of the week may be possible, depending on arrangements and availability.
Outside the Usual Route
Occasional park outings in Richmond, Burnaby or New Westminster may be discussed by special request. We confirm the route and any transport arrangements with you.

Other care requests and service limits
Cat Boarding on Request
Cat boarding is available on request, subject to suitability and availability. Tell Ken and Yvonne your dates and your cat’s routine so we can discuss care arrangements and a quote.
Training and grooming
We do not offer dog training or grooming. Our dog-care guides are educational resources. Planned transport to a groomer may be arranged separately, subject to availability.
Ask about care for your dog
Leave a clear care handoff
Prepare a private two-page summary of your dog’s usual routine and the arrangements the caregiver has confirmed. Use the sections relevant to walking, daycare, boarding or planned transport.
What to put in your care notes
- Usual meals, water, bathroom routine, walks and familiar cues.
- What helps your dog rest, and triggers or handling needs to discuss.
- Health changes or care needs the provider must confirm.
- Owner, backup and veterinary contacts, with the agreed emergency process.
- Both handoffs, approved items, and questions still to resolve.
Example: “Wait at doors means pause before opening. Quiet rest after lunch helps. Please confirm whether the usual routine can be followed.”
Download the fillable care handoff sheet (PDF, 2 pages)
Type into the PDF and save your copy, or print and write. Owner, backup and vet contacts are together on page 1. Share both completed pages through your agreed private channel. Keep keys and access arrangements out of public notes. Use the provider’s process and your veterinarian’s directions for medical instructions; this worksheet is not an authorization or booking confirmation.
