Learn About DaycareIs Marpole Dog Walking the Right Fit?
We are intentionally small-scale, personal, and routine-focused rather than a high-volume facility. A clear fit check helps protect every dog’s comfort and safety.
Best Fit For
- Small, senior, calm, or routine-oriented dogs who thrive with predictable care.
- Owners who value direct communication with Ken and Yvonne.
- Marpole and South Vancouver households seeking a dependable recurring routine.
- Dogs comfortable with a peaceful, kennel-free home and no more than three dogs total for boarding or daycare.
When Another Setup Is Better
- Dogs needing high-intensity off-leash pack running or large-group play.
- Owners seeking a high-volume kennel or a large, rotating staff team.
- Last-minute, on-demand emergency drop-ins across outer suburbs.
- Dogs whose dog-directed aggression or severe separation distress requires specialist support beyond this setting.

What Local Dog Owners Say
“They are caring, responsible and always go above and beyond to make sure my dog is happy, safe and healthy.”
Before You Inquire
A few details help us respond clearly about suitability and openings:
- Neighbourhood and service: walking, boarding, or daycare, plus preferred dates and timing windows.
- Your dog’s routine: age, size, temperament, leash etiquette, and comfort around other dogs.
- Care considerations: relevant health or mobility notes, triggers, and handling sensitivities.
- Building logistics: stairs, elevators, concierge hours, or other access constraints. No entry codes are needed in your first message.
Keep access information private. Key handoffs and secure entry arrangements are handled directly after fit is confirmed and care arrangements are agreed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which neighbourhoods do you serve?
Our local focus is Marpole and South Vancouver, with walking availability in Oakridge, Kerrisdale, Cambie, and nearby corridors. Boarding enquiries may come from elsewhere in Metro Vancouver or the YVR corridor. Share your location and requested service so we can confirm logistics; coverage is not a promise of pickup or transport.
How many dogs are in a walk or in-home care?
Walks have a maximum of five dogs, with compatibility and handling needs considered first. Boarding and daycare are limited to three dogs total in a kennel-free home environment. We are not a high-volume pack-walking service.
How do I get started?
Send an availability enquiry with your neighbourhood, schedule, and dog’s routine and temperament. Ken and Yvonne will review fit and current openings with you. Sending an enquiry does not reserve a place; care starts after arrangements are confirmed.
